Shapes Are Everywhere!
Every year I have students
in my class who have a great deal of difficulty identify shapes. So I
created this book to reinforce the shapes as well as literacy connections.
All of the pages follow the sentence frame that you see in the sample page above
except for the last page. The shapes covered are circle, square, triangle,
rectangle, oval, and diamond. The book is created in a full page, portrait
format with expanded text for easier reading. Sight words used are:
a, is, this are. All text is at the bottom of the page. The pages
are not numbered so that you can arrange them as you please. (7 pages)
I've also created
Pocketchart Picture Cards for this book. It has all the pictures from the book
already formatted in the size to fit in your pocketchart. Just copy the
pictures onto cardstock, color, laminate, and cut apart and you're ready to go.
