Bees seem to be one of the hot classroom themes for the coming school year, so we created this book to go along with the theme.  I also have a Busy, Busy Bee unit that this book will fit into perfectly.  I think this book has turned out to be the cutest one yet!  And unless something happens, you'll be seeing more of Buzzy Bee.  Two more books have already been written and will go on the illustrator's drawing board soon.  Carol has learned SO MUCH about drawing computer graphics in the short time that she's been working with me and it certainly shows in this book.  I'm not doing a Bee Theme this year, but I'm going to make sure that somehow I incorporate this book! :)

The text format of this book follows the same sentence pattern as in the sample page above except for the beginning and ending of the story.  This book was created to introduce or reinforce the position words concept.  The book is created in a full page, portrait format  with expanded text for easier reading.  Sight words used are: house, in, the, and, on, behind, cat, under, over, around, through, of, out, was, a, he, little.  All text is at the bottom of the page.  The pages are not numbered.  (11 pages)

I have also created Pocketchart Picture Cards for this book.  It has all the pictures from the book already formatted in the size to fit in your pocketchart.  Just copy the pictures onto cardstock, color, laminate, and cut apart and you're ready to go.  Even the pocketchart pictures are precious! ;)
